My Flying Lessons

09/3/2008Up to now I have 9 hours instruction on trikes. The first introductory 5 hours was with Abid, to determine if I really want to fly trikes. Then I bought an Apollo Delta Jet and Larry took over. I have flown with Larry 4 hours. We did the basic maneuvers and I think Larry is satisfied I am able to control the trike without falling out of the sky. Once I go solo I will practice all the moves until I am ready for the pre test and test for my license. The last 2 hours was spend low flying over the runway and trying to keep the trike above the center line. I had problems in the cross wind and the turbulence at first but the last time we flew I got it right. I think I am ready to go to the next step to land the trike. The weather and family commitments kept me from flying alot but I hope to catch up on the flying this coming weekend.
